Tamil Nadu House extends protocol facilities to high dignitaries from the State like Hon’ble Governor, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Hon’ble Ministers, Hon’ble Chief Justice of Madras High Court and other State Guests. Protocol function is looked after by the Reception Wing headed by the Deputy Resident Commissioner and supported by the Assistant Reception Officers. Transport facilities are provided to eligible guests. For other guests, on request, taxies are arranged on payment basis from the authorized transport contractor of Tamil Nadu House.

Tamil Nadu House , New Delhi ( Vaigai and Podhigai ) is managed by the Resident Commissioners. Vaigai Tamil Nadu House has 49 rooms and Podhigai Tamil Nadu House has 73 rooms. Allotment of these rooms reservation being done by Public ( General- II ) Department, Secretariat, Chennai-09.
