Seasons in New Delhi

Monsoon Season:

Monsoon season falls in the month of July to mid September. Temperature lies in the range of 30 °C to 35°C .Rainfall is regarded as great relief from the hot and humid climate of the region. Light clothes are also preferred by the people as daily wear.

Summer Season:

Summer season starts from the month of April and continues up to the month of July. During the summer season, temperature lies in the range of 25°C to 45°C and it is pretty humid as well. Wearing light clothes, a hat in sunshade, drinking lot of fluids are some of the precautionary steps that people need to take while travelling in summers

Winter Season:

Winter in Delhi has extreme cold and low temperature. The season starts from the month of December and continues till the month of January.The temperature remains in the range of 22°c to 5°C during winters. Warm and woollen clothes are the most preferred wear during the winters.

Best Time to visit Delhi:

Being one of the popular historical cities in India as well as the capital city New Delhi is frequented by tourists, government officials and corporate travellers. For a tourist, who wants to blend in the cultural hues and Indian history, the best time to visit Delhi is either during the months of October and November or February and March. Rest of the year the climate in Delhi is either too hot or too cold. During the months of October, November, February and March, Delhi experiences a mild climate that draws in tourists from different parts of the world. The temperature in Delhi in October hovers between 20 degree to 25 degree and slightly falls and nestles between 15 degree to 20 degree in November. The temperature in Delhi in February and March more or less follows the same scale as in October and March.
